Interfaces for your people at the plant and for your customers

Operator apps that run on a tablet right at the plant, even without a connection. Plus web interfaces and dashboards for your service team and your end customers.

The problem

At the plant you need an interface for setup, configuration and commissioning. Often that is a laptop with special software only a technician can use. For service and end customers there is either nothing or a dashboard that looks nothing like the operator interface.

Existing web apps age quickly. An Angular version that is no longer supported gets no more security updates, and whoever built it has often left the company.

Offline-capable operator app with Angular and WebSockets

The operator app is a progressive web app built with Angular. It runs on a tablet right at the plant, even without a network. It talks to the services on the edge device in real time over WebSockets and copes with dropped connections.

For service and end customers we build web interfaces and dashboards on the same data: plant state, faults, history. Each customer sees only their own plants. Where Grafana is enough, we use Grafana; where a custom interface is needed, we build it.

We move older Angular applications to a current version step by step, without interrupting operations.

What you get

  • an operator app for setup, configuration and commissioning at the plant
  • web interfaces and dashboards for service and end customers, separated by customer
  • migration of existing Angular apps to a supported version
  • code, build and delivery in your pipeline

Limits

Safety functions stay in the controller. We build web applications, not native iOS or Android apps.

Frequently asked questions

Why a web app instead of classic HMI software?

A web app runs in the browser on any tablet and any computer, is updated centrally and shares code with the customer portal. For commissioning, configuration and service, that is often simpler than a separate HMI licence per device.

Does the app work without a network?

Yes. The operator app is a progressive web app and keeps running offline. The connection to the edge device runs over WebSockets and re-establishes itself after a drop.

Can you take over our existing Angular app?

Yes. In 2026 we provided technical guidance for migrating an industrial operator app from Angular 16 to Angular 22. We review the code first and then propose a path that does not interrupt operations.

Is operation through a web interface safe?

Safety functions such as the emergency stop stay in the controller. The web interface requires a login, runs in the secured network and can only trigger what the controller allows.
